Formation Kempo Sportif -Combat Mixte FSGT

Many of us are passionate about MMA; we practice it, we compete in it, and we share our experiences.
We all know that this discipline has a bright future in France, even if sometimes the octagon seems far away. For many instructors, one question arises: what puts me in compliance with teaching and practicing this martial art?
In recent years, thanks to the work of passionate individuals, training programs, ranks, and committees have been emerging all over France.
If we want to provide amateurs with a coherent structure, it's important that we ourselves are trained as instructors, gaining pedagogical expertise and being open to questioning our teaching methods.
Whether we've been professional fighters or just dedicated enthusiasts ready to invest in the future of mixed martial arts, we must continue this quest for learning and present a positive, structured, and professional image of our practice.
This weekend, from Friday evening to Monday, I had the opportunity to participate in a Sporty Kempo / Mixed Martial Arts training program within the FSGT (French Sport for All Federation). It was an intense training led by a master, Mohamed (Brainy-Shark Carcariastrikers), and his team including Diego Rodrigues and Hong-ly Lao.
For the price of a license (34€), you have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive training program to become an Initiator / Instructor / Trainer in Mixed Martial Arts. This program is recognized by the Ministry, and you can obtain Federal Animation Certificates (BFA) to legitimize your activity. In many other structures, it costs several hundred euros per level.
However, this is not just another training program where attendance is the only requirement for obtaining your diploma. You may leave without the paper, but you will gain valuable self-reflection, insights, and areas for improvement.
It's an engaging training program that reminds us that we are not here to practice only for our gym or dojo but that we are links in a chain. It is through our approach, ethics, and professionalism in our gym that the authorities should take us all seriously.
If you're looking for a genuine training program and you're ready to question yourself, please inquire with the FSGT and its Combat Sports and Martial Arts Commission (SCAM).
Thanks to all the learners and our instructors from the "timballe" 2016 session.
